Oregano:
Thyme is a perennial plant with pink or white flowers, small leaves, and a strong scent. It grows in clusters on dry hillsides and ridges. It enjoys being located on grassy field edges, forest edges, and on top of ant hills in meadows. It proliferates in rocky and mountainous areas where the soil temperature is high because it requires sun and warmth. The beautiful scent emanating from its violet-colored flowers attracts bees and insects during sunny midday temperatures. Thyme contains volatile oil, bitter substances, tannin, carvacrol, and thymol.
METHOD OF EXTRACTION:
Oregano leaves are obtained by distillation method.
