Blackberry, whose Latin name is 'Rubus caesius', is from the rosaceae family. It is native to Central Southern and Western Europe. It grows in the Black Sea, Mediterranean, Aegean and Marmara regions of our country. It is closely related to raspberry and strawberry. It is very difficult to distinguish close to 100 species from each other. It is a perennial thorny herb with four square stems and branches.

In June and July, white, pink or red flowers in umbrella-like clusters bloom. It gives fruits of great taste with its taste as well as its appearance. The blackberry, which decorates the market stalls in its season, can be put into all kinds of cakes, desserts, pastries and ice cream.

From the blackberry root plant; Blackberry root tea, blackberry root oil, blackberry root extract and extract are produced.
