quinaquina, whose Latin name is 'Cinchona Pubescens', is from the root dye family. It is a native tree that grows in the Amazon rainforest. It is native to Peru and Bolivia. As an industrial plant, it is grown in tropical countries such as Java, South India, Colombia, Ceylon, Guatemala, Cameroon, and Congo. The shape of its leaves resembles an egg. It is a perennial herb with a sharp scent and white flowers.
Cinnamon is much more than a family of plants. It was used by desert people for the first time by mixing mud on hands and feet to cool them. Over the years, it has started to be burned only on the palms, not on the whole hands. In many cultures, quinaqıina was believed to ward off the evil eye, keep evil away, and protect from spells. Central Asian women used quinaquina to adorn themselves and make themselves look different from other women. Traditionally, it has become a ritual to hold a quinaquina night before the wedding for the girls who will get married in our country. In many parts of the world, quinaquina is a symbol of beauty, purity, and fertility.

From the quinaquina plant; quinaquina tea, quinaquina oil, quinaquina tincture and quinaquina are produced.
